The Beyond SMP Court system is planned for handling serious disputes and alleged offences through a formal trial process. Players may be brought before a Judge, evidence can be presented, and a verdict can be reached.

⚖️ How a Case Works

  1. A legitimate case can be submitted by a player, Moderator, Admin, MP, or Commander.
  2. The case is considered for court.
  3. The defendant is brought before the court and can respond to the allegations.
  4. Evidence can be presented, including recordings, screenshots and witnesses.
  5. A Judge presides over the case. A Moderator may also be involved where server-moderation matters are relevant.
  6. A verdict is reached and an appropriate punishment may be issued.

📁 Criminal Records

Beyond SMP is planning a permanent criminal-record system. Records are intended to be viewable by staff, while players will be able to view their own record at the Society Building.

Previous offences may affect future punishments and may affect eligibility for certain faction roles or ranks.

Planned evidence can include recordings, screenshots and player witnesses. The final evidence rules are not yet complete.
